Sixty-five percent of the Afghan population is under age 25. Sustainable Capacity Development for Afghanistan is my personal effort to channel funding from various sources to build business in Afghanistan. Through the creation of jobs and opportunities to learn, the youth of Afghanistan will have options not currently available to thrive outside the voices of the insurgents who play on desperation and the futile knowledge of desperation.

I hope to inspire an army of parents who have raised their families to commit to rasing the next generation of Afghanistan for the next 11 years. Parents know the fear and hunger of a child and can lead through their natural ability to build consensus and business cooperation.  The Franchise Industry is especially important to peace. The brands recognized around the world firmly represent stability and "home". 

As a citizen of the world I am often comforted in a strange land when I can find a familiar business to walk into. Especially, a Starbucks, Subway, McDonalds, or a Safeway! Franchising represents prosperity, peace and corporate responsibility. Capacity development for Afghanistan is very important. Franchisors can train and provide a bridge between formal education and vocational training. Many people in Afghanistan have put their savings into gold. During the war this investment has appreciated. Afghan families can pull resources to build franchise businesses in Afghanistan. Many finance options are available from NGOs, and the AID community.

I have developed strategic relationships with world leaders and business leaders in and out of Afghanistan.  Together we have the ability to get the license for the business, work permits, import and export goods, build structures, create unlimited bandwidth in any part of Afghanistan. These young men are working in jobs that in the USA would go to seasoned professionals. Relationships with USAID, and private companies like Global Trust Construction, give them mentors and suppot to rebuild the country. Besmel on the right, has one of the only Masters Degrees in the Northern Proviences.
